Our brand strategy and brand identity helped Europes largest counter-party to explain their offer and grow their business

Background

EuroCCP, the European subsidiary of DTCC, provides clearing and counterparty services across Europe for equity trades on Turquoise, SmartPool, NYSE Arca Europe and Pipeline platforms. Our brief was to increase the awareness of EuroCCP by creating a Brand Identity that enhanced EuroCCP’s image and differentiated it from competitors.

Insight

Although all financial markets rely on counterparties and post-trade-settlement services, this important part of the infrastructure of financial markets was neither clearly understood nor fully appreciated.

Definition

Our brand theme – ‘Complex made easy’ – captured EuroCCP’s approach to helping their clients, while broadening understanding of what they actually do.

Expression

We developed a sophisticated and single minded new Brand Visual Identity using dramatic black and white imagery that elevated the business and enabled them to create an impactful advertising campaign.
